In July we are offering two ESOL workshops in Hamilton. Go to our workshops page to read more or to enrol.

As one of the organisations delivering Ministry of Education funded professional development we are excited to be seeing the progress that our schools and Communities of Learning are making with accelerating student achievement. If you are interested in talking to us either about Ministry or privately funded PLD please get in touch with Jane Ph. 0210376870 or

In April, we held a very successful Literacy Symposium in Auckland. Our keynote speaker was Laurayne Tafa who is now an Associate of Tools 4 Teachers. Attendees had their thinking about cultural responsiveness challenged by Laurayne and we look forward to more robust conversations about the ways we are responsive to culture in our work. If you are interested in working more closely with Laurayne you can contact her through us.

Jane and Charlene have been talking with teachers again about the My Learning Range of exercise books available from Office Max. Watch this space for some new additions and changes to the range in the future. If you haven’t seen these exercise books, ask your stationery supplier if you can get a sample package to look at. We think they are the best range on the market and highly recommend them for use in all Primary and Intermediate schools.
